Job Specification The Assistant Manager – Asset Management will support the management of aircraft technical records The role involves coordinating aircraft data transitions, maintaining compliance with OEM, regulatory, and lessor documentation standards, and supporting audits, transitions, and redeliveries. The incumbent will work closely with internal engineering teams, lessors, MROs, and IT to ensure accurate and compliant asset records throughout the aircraft lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities * Support end-to-end management of aircraft technical records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and traceability. * Assist in aircraft induction, transition, and redelivery activities, ensuring documentation compliance with OEM, regulatory authority, and lessor requirements. * Maintain configuration control of aircraft, engines, APUs, landing gears, LLPs, and rotable components. * Perform validation, reconciliation, and updating of aircraft and component data during asset transfers or system transitions. * Ensure compliance with DGCA / EASA / FAA regulations and lessor audit standards related to technical records. * Prepare and support internal, external, and lessor audits, including compilation of audit packages and closure of findings. * Coordinate with engineering, CAMO, maintenance planning, quality, IT, OEMs, MROs, and lessors for records-related activities. * Identify data gaps, discrepancies, and risks in technical records and support corrective and preventive actions. * Adhere to SOPs and support continuous improvement initiatives in asset management and records governance. * Generate periodic reports and dashboards on asset status, transition readiness, and compliance for management review.
Skills * Good understanding of aircraft technical records, configuration management, and asset lifecycle processes. * Working knowledge of aviation regulations (DGCA / EASA / FAA) and lessor documentation requirements. * Strong documentation control and data validation skills.
